As the name suggests, the home has a very sleek and dark appointment.

However, the black siding, black roof, black windows and black trim give way to a surprisingly bright interior space. We designed the home this way at the behest of our clients, who deserve a lot of credit in the design of the home.

This 760 Square foot laneway house is located in East Vancouver in a particularly wild lane

(the vacant city owned land on the other side of the lane has been turned into a large ‘Renegade Garden” by the locals).
