This home was a labour of love.

The main house is one of the oldest homes in East Vancouver, and is situated in the middle of the lot, necessitating that the laneway home be built beside the house instead at the rear. This simple tweak to the bylaw’s allowances for placement added an extra year onto the planning component of the project. The fact that it was successful in the end is a testament to the understanding of the hard working people at the City of Vancouver, and the patience of our clients.
